As we all know, the website WSOP.com has existed for quite some time now, and offers a range of free-play poker tables for entertainment purposes. However, rumors have been flying about like tumbleweeds in a dessert tornado as to the launch of WSOP.com’s impending real money online poker room. As of now, the closest target for launch is ‘Summer of 2013’.

It was previously reported that the Nevada online poker site was aiming to launch before the start of the 2013 World Series of Poker. It has been confirmed that those speculations were not true; a verity that was further proven by the fact that the WSOP starts today, and the website is not yet accepting real money deposits. However, there is some clear cut evidence that the real-money poker tables at WSOP.com will be delivered to residents of the Silver State in the very near future.

The evidence in question comes from photographs taken this morning at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, where promotional banners for the launch of real-money poker at WSOP.com are apparently posted throughout the WSOP tournament arena. The pictures were posted on the TwoPlusTwo poker forums around 12:30am this morning.

The first photograph depicts a pair of Aces, a WSOP poker chip, and the phrase “GAME BACK ON(LINE).” The banner’s text continues, “Real money online poker coming this summer. Sign up today in the Lambada Room,” with the WSOP.com logo and catch phrase, ‘Where the action is.’, below. From this, we can at least gather that the real money poker site will be launched sometime in the Summer, maybe even as early as July 2013.

The next two images represent promotional tournaments that will be held on WSOP.com once the real money poker site has been officially established. Both of these images encourage poker enthusiasts from Nevada to go ahead and register their accounts with WSOP.com. On the second photograph, the banner states, “Register Now. You will be automatically entered into the first event of the WSOP.com Online Championships,” which is slated as a $100k Freeroll.

The third pictured banner illustrates the full schedule of the imminent WSOP.com Online Championships, and a similar statement encouraging new members to register early for an automatic entry to the first event of the series. The full WSOP.com Online Championships Tournament Schedule, boasting $500k in added money, reads as follows:

October 25th – $100k Freeroll
October 26th – $10k Pot Added
October 27th – $15k Pot Added
October 28th – $20k Pot Added
October 29th – $30k Pot Added
October 30th – $40k Pot Added
October 31st – $50k Pot Added
November 1st – $60k Pot Added
November 2nd – $75k Pot Added
November 4th & 5th – $100k Champions Freeroll

On an interesting side note, the two-day main event of the WSOP.com Online Championships schedule, the $100k Champions Freeroll, falls directly in line with the 2013 WSOP Main Event final table. The notorious November Nine will be seated on November 4th, expected to run through November 5th. Thus, in the end, while the rumors that WSOP.com would instate its real money poker tables prior to the start of the 2013 World Series of Poker were tenuous, it is apparent that action will be underway at the most highly anticipated online poker site in the US long before the live Main Event action comes to a close.
