We won’t hold out on you, we know you’re dying to know what goodies NetEnt has up their sleeves. They has just released the sequel – Butterfly Staxx 2! It still has 5 reels and 40 paylines with a picturesque backdrop. However, you may be surprised to find some new stacked symbols and special bonus features hidden.

This time around, the Lotus flower is the game’s wild symbol. This lotus will substitute for all other symbols in the game with the exception of the scatter. This wild can also show up in both the base game as well as the bonus game. More wins anyone? You can also find this Lotus anywhere on the reels 🙂

In case you were all wondering how to get some re-spins going, you’re going to want to keep your eyes open for a stack of butterflies. They can land on any reel, they just have to be stacked. Once you see this, the re-spin feature will automatically trigger. Every butterfly will ‘fly’ to the left reel until there are no more left. If you happen to make sure the 2 reels to the left are filled with butterfly symbols during this feature, you will get a second re-spin area unlocked and another chance for coins.

The Rose is the scatter symbol and when you land on 3 or more anywhere on reels 1, 3 or 5, you will trigger the Free Spins Feature. Once this is triggered, you’ll have the choice between the Butterfly Spins or the Butterfly Frenzy Features.

If you choose the Butterfly Spins, only cocoon symbols are able to land on the reels. The active cocoon symbols will will turn into butterflies (cocoon symbols can also be dormant).

During the Butterfly Frenzy you will get a chance to choose butterflies to increase your wins 🙂

Happy Spinning 🙂
