Highlights
I've been writing about a little bit of everything during my career, and I've always enjoyed writing about sports and casino gambling because my mind always looks for angles. Whether it's an overlooked number at a sportsbook, finding the best RTP options among different online slots or why you should cover the six and eight first when you're making place bets on the craps table, I'm always looking for any place where I can get an edge and I love sharing that through my writing.
Experience
I've written for various newspapers and publications around the country, including Pittsburgh Sports Now, the Indianapolis Star, Gambling.com, the Greensboro News and Record, the Virginian-Pilot, the Idaho State Journal, the Daily Item, Godzilla Wins and SportyTrader. I've done a lot of work in the sports journalism industry over the course of 15 years, and I transitioned to gambling writing after Murphy v. NCAA opened up legal gambling across the nation.
Education
Bachelor's of Journalism, University of Missouri, 2009
Dan Angell's Gambling Tip
Know your bankroll and never get too high after wins or too low after losses. Make sure that you're always making intelligent wagers in accordance with how much you can genuinely afford to lose.
