3 Reasons That Answer the ‘Question Is Casino Extreme Legit?’
The online casino gambling community just keeps on growing all over the world. Why not? It’s a great way for adults to relax, have fun, and maybe win a dollar or two.
Of course, alligators always swim in the waters where people swim. Translated: New online casino players must be resolute about the online casinos they align themselves with. There aren’t many rogue operators on the Internet, but they exist.
With all of this in mind, let’s look at Casino Extreme and answer the question: “Is Casino Extreme Legit?
About Casino Extreme
Originally founded in 2000 by Anden Online N.V., Casino Extreme has become a reliable online casino site, operating out of Curacao.
A look at the operator’s games library shows they maintain a decent selection of video slots and table games from top software developers like Real Time Gaming, Visionary iGaming, and Spinlogic Gaming. They also offer a nice selection of bonus promos that promise to give new and existing customers plenty of extra value from their wagering dollars.
As for banking options, Casino Extreme does offer a nice selection of fiat currency-based options. However, they are most notable for being big proponents of cryptocurrencies, willing to accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, and surely more coins in the future. Note: Cryptos can be used to facilitate both deposits and withdrawals.

Now for the question at hand: Is Casino Extreme Legit?
The short answer would be very much so. They appear to have a good reputation in the international online casino gambling community. The following information will support that contention.
Licensing
The first thing every new iGaming customer should look for during their selection process is whether or not the operator is appropriately licensed and regulated. In the case of Casino Extreme, it seems evident they are licensed by the Government of Curacao (eGaming Curacao). This might not be the most prominent regulator in the world, but they do a decent job of keeping their licensees in line.
Reputation with customers
The second thing every new iGaming customer should look for is the operator’s reputation in the public. I have never been a strong advocate for looking at customer reviews. The good reviews tend to come from winning players and the bad reviews tend to come from disgruntled players who just lost a bunch of money. In other words, there tends to be bias at play. Here are a couple of reviews currently listed on an independent review site:
The good: “Trustworthy and I love the challenge of the free spins. Slots still hit when you use your own money.”
The bad: “wanted to give credit to extreme both of my cashouts took only an hour i was impressed but all of their deposit bonuses have a cashout limit that is the bad thing which for me is a game breaker, I don’t deposit with a bonus that has a cashout limit otherwise that’s where I would play all the time.”
Indeed, reviews come mixed based on each player’s specific circumstances.
Reputation with watchdog sites
To get a real sense of the legitimacy of an online casino operator, I find it prudent to see what popular “watchdog” websites have to say. In my quest to look at the legitimacy of Casino Extreme, I went to Casinomeister & TrustPilot.
Casinomeister
Casinomeister is arguably the best watchdog site in the world. They put a lot of time and effort into tracking online casinos, going as far as interacting with management. We’ll call Casinomeister the “gold standard” of the iGaming community.
Casinomeister admits that Casino Extreme had issues in the early years. They even hit the “not recommended” list a few times. In recent times, Casinomeister has been more comfortable giving Casino Extreme good marks. They currently have the operator rated at 7.8 (on a scale of 10), which is pretty good based on Casinomeister’s lofty standards.
What they like about Casino Extreme is the operator’s fast payouts, gaming selection, crypto-friendliness, and lack of complaints. However, they don’t like the operator’s “Flaccid licensing jurisdiction” and low weekly payout limits.
TrustPilot
While TrustPilot doesn’t go to the same depths as Casinomeister, they do a good job of collecting data and creating meaningful metrics.
TrustPilot has Casino Extreme rated at a healthy 4.3 (on a scale of 5) based mostly on 1547 customer reviews over the last 12 months. It’s a positive sign for Casino Extreme that 82% of those reviews got 5 stars. That’s a sign of an iGaming operator that is playing by the rules and treating customers fairly.
TrustPilot’s users like that Casino Extreme’s management has responded to 98% of the negative reviews they received. That includes 35 reviews that came attached to a rating of 1 star or less. Furthermore, they responded to those negative reviews in a week or less in most cases. Those are fine marks that show the operator cares about its reputation.
Bottom line: I get a sense that TrustPilot would have no problem recommending Casino Extreme if they were in the business of making endorsements. To be clear, they don’t endorse iGaming sites but they aren’t afraid to give out good marks to deserving iGaming operators.
My Personal View
I have no problem vouching for the legitimacy of Casino Extreme. After 24 years in operation, they have indeed stood the test of time.
They get high marks from Casinomeister and TrustPilot, as well as a few other review sites that tend to be tough on iGaming operators. Plus, I have experience playing at the casino myself with no issues.
If you are new to the international iGaming community and are looking for a good online casino with which to start, Casino Extreme warrants consideration. After looking at the operator’s bonus promos and willingness to accept cryptos, a little extra consideration might be the right way to go.
