The best part about being a casino jackpot winner? No rules, and no limits. So if you want to buy a house, you can buy a mansion. If you want to buy a car, you can buy a performance beast. And if you want to go on holiday, there’s no need to stick to the traditional island getaway or snowy ski lodge – in fact if you’ve got a taste for the unusual or the extraordinary, the sky’s the limit! And sometimes, even beyond…

Transylvanian temptation
Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Twilight, countless books, movies and TV series – our fascination with vampires is well-documented and as strong as ever. And now, there’s a way for you to combine your love of Dracula with your love of adventure – at the Dracula’s Castle Halloween Party this November!

Set in the renowned Bran Castle near Transylvania, Romania (yes, that’s where Transylvania is), this one-night-only party promises spine-tingling excitement and an evening of horrifyingly awesome entertainment – Dracula-style, of course. Think luxury accommodation, gourmet meals, a tour of the castle, a horror movie screening, and a DJ to keep you dancing till dawn!

Intrigued? Then let’s take a closer look at exactly what’s in store for you on this ghoulishly gripping night out. Once you arrive in Bran, you’ll check into your gorgeous three-star hotel, then feast on a delicious Romanian buffet dinner featuring mouth-watering local delicacies. You’ll want to keep up your strength for the night ahead, of course!

After dinner, you’ll change into your Halloween costume (yes, you’ll need one), then make the short walk up to the castle itself, in time for a tour of its mysterious halls and walls. Once the tour is done, you’ll settle in for a horror movie screening – and if that’s not enough excitement for you, a Romanian DJ will get the party started as soon as the credits roll, and then it’s a night of dancing till the sun comes up!

At just $275 per person (excluding flights), it’s a hugely affordable way to spend Halloween – and hugely thrilling as well. Plus at that price, you’ll be able to take a plane full of friends over for an even more spectacular night out. Just remember though, if you plan on meeting Dracula, leave the garlic and holy water and crucifixes behind. Wouldn’t that be a story to tell everyone back home!

Get your igloo on
You’ve been to Bali, you’ve been to Thailand – what’s next on your list of exotic vacations? How about a trip to the North Pole? No not to see Santa Claus (although that could definitely happen) – to stay in the pop-up North Pole Igloos Hotel!

Organised by Scandinavian travel company, Luxury Action, the North Pole Igloos Hotel is one of the most innovative ways to visit Earth’s northernmost point, with the chance to stay in an igloo overnight, and hopefully experience the breathtaking aurora borealis as well. Open in April 2020 for just one month, it’s a once-in-a lifetime chance to see part of the world that not many people travel to – and as for the accommodation, it’s travel innovation at its finest!

So how much will a trip to the North Pole Igloos Hotel set you back? Brace yourself… it’s a whopping $105 000 – and that’s just for one night! Why so expensive though? Mainly because of the area’s remote location. Accessible for only three months out of the year, visitors to the North Pole are only able to travel there via helicopter in April, and via ship in June and July, with only 1 000 people making the trip each year – and then stocked up with hardcore survival gear.

Of course, your $105 000 a night will buy you a stay that’s a little more luxurious – in fact, a lot more luxurious. For starters, a two-hour helicopter ride will see you safely to the hotel’s door, where you’ll stay in one of 10 heated (thank goodness) igloos, each with its own en suite bathroom and indoor plumbing. Your price of admission also includes the services of a camp manager, wilderness guide, chef and security, as well as a two-night stay on an archipelago between Norway and the North Pole.

“The North Pole has been one of the most exclusive travel destinations in the world for years, but no nice and comfortable accommodation facilities exist there,” says Luxury Action founder, Janne Honkanen. “I wanted to create a more comfortable way to experience the North Pole as it is, by bringing cosy facilities to extreme conditions.”

So it’s not just a night in a room made of ice – it’s an experience as unique as it is memorable, and one that’ll stay with you long after your luxury igloo has melted.

All the space you need
If you’re a ‘been there, done that’ type of traveller, we promise you we have a vacation destination you’ve never been to before – one to excite even the most jaded holidaymaker. Get ready to take your next vacation in (drum roll please) outer space!

That’s right – thanks to the GalaXsea project, the future of travel is looking not just to the skies, but beyond our atmosphere, with the first space solar sailboat and hotel to be printed in space! So forget luxury hotels and five-star resorts – this destination is out of this world. Literally.

While the project is still under development, GalaXsea looks to create a platform for visitors and explorers to experience the universe in a completely new and innovative way. With a 3D printing technique specially designed for the unique requirements of outer space, it’s a project that’s not just one-of-a-kind, it’s one-of-a-millennium! Just think – travelling through the clouds to a solar-powered sailboat drifting through space… it’s an adventure that’s almost beyond imagining!

“I remember when the future was about leaving earth in a boring rocket or an individual capsule,” says creator Eugeni Quitllet. “Scientists were pursuing the dream of living in a hole on the moon or building settlements in a desert in Mars. The idea of the future used to sound exciting to us, it seemed like the only possible idea… who could blame us? That was the only vision of the future we were provided with. [GalaXsea] is a continuous project that keeps growing, with unique pieces that you can only find there, designed in space for a better life on earth.”

While the prototype is still being worked on, there’s more than enough time to dream about what a stay in space would feel like – and enough time to save for one too, as we’re sure it won’t be cheap. But no matter how much a trip from our galaxy to the GalaXsea would cost, we’re sure it’ll be worth every last penny. To infinity, and beyond!
