How to Play Deuces Wild Power Video Poker

Deuces Wild is one of the most popular video poker games in existence. For avid players, the only thing better than Deuces Wild is the Power Poker version of the game. Deuces Wild Power Poker allows players to play anywhere from 4 to 100 hands of Deuces Wild per game. Since all 2’s are wild, the chance of producing a high ranking hand is much better, thus the pay table varies from standard video poker games so that the lowest possible winning hand is any 3 of a Kind, not the usual Pair of Jacks.

While playing as many as 100 hands per game may sound like a great way to get some fantastic payouts ““ and it is, no doubt ““ do keep in mind that you will be paying an additional 1 to 5 coins for each hand played. A single-hand game played at $0.25 per game jumps to $25 per game in a 100 hand power poker game. Bet Max (5 coins per hand) at $0.25 per coin and it jump to $125 for a single play.

The gameplay and payouts detailed below are based on the 4-Handed Deuces Wild Power Poker game found at Microgaming powered online casinos. How to Play Deuces Wild Power Poker

Step one is selecting you coin size by pressing the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons. Next, click the Bet One button as many times as desired to insert coins, up to 5. Note that you’re inserting this many coins for each hand. Clicking Bet Max will bet all 5 coins per hand and automatically deal the cards. Otherwise, press Deal to start.

There are four hands shown face-down, and one face up. Just worry about the face up hand, as this will produce the four poker hands in a moment. Click on any card you want to keep so that a HELD label appears over the card. All cards without a HELD sign will be discarded and replaced with new cards.

When you’re done, click Deal. The four hands will now be revealed, each containing the cards you chose to hold. Each hand will receive new cards in place of the discarded ones. All hands are randomly dealt new cards from a separate 52-card deck, thus they should all look different. Any hand that ranks 3 of a Kind or better will receive a payout according to the pay table. All others will lose their bet.

So long as just one hand wins, you are offered the chance to play the Double feature. This is a simple high-low card game that doubles your winnings if you win, or loses them all if you don’t. If you want to play, click Double. If not, click Collect and your current winnings are paid.

Deuces Wild Power Poker Double Feature

The Double feature is a 5-card high-low game. The first card is dealt face-up, all others face-down. You must click any one of the face-down cards. If the card you choose ranks higher than the first card, you win. If not, your previous hand winnings are lost and the screen returns to the video poker game.

Should you successfully double your winnings, you can choose to attempt the Double feature again by clicking Double, or quit and keep your winnings by clicking Collect.
