The French online gambling market has been expanding greatly since deciding to legalize and regulate the industry. The latest addition to this growing market is Titan Poker, the pride and joy of the iPoker Network.

The French Regulatory Authority of Online Games granted a license to Titan Poker, boosting the presence of the iPoker Network from menial to significant. Titan Poker is the first major brand for the network to step into the French market.
Up until this point, the Playtech-owned network, operating in France as iPoker.fr, only had its foot in the door with Chili Poker and a few land-based casino groups that include Groupe Tranchant, JOA and Casino du Golfe.
“Getting our poker license will be a new stage in the process of expanding competition in the French market for gambling and Internet gambling,” commented the President of The Nation Traffic, parent company of Titan.fr, Benjamin Issembert. “With over ten years of experience in the industry, we are confident beyond any shadow of a doubt that we will succeed in competing with the current leaders in the French poker market and will hold a place in the heart of French players.”
Titan Poker formerly maintained a number of French members within its player base, up until the online poker room was forced to pull its operations from the country’s borders. In hopes of regaining the loyalty of its past French memberships, Titan.fr released this statement:
“Former TitanPoker.com players will receive excellent conditions for resuming their activity on Titan.fr while new members will receive particularly lucrative promotional offers. All Titan.fr players, both new and old, can expect tempting bonuses, tournaments, freerolls and a generous VIP programme.”
All in all, this news could mean great things for all parties involved; Titan Poker, the iPoker Network and French online poker fans alike. As one of the largest members of iPoker, Titan is universally recognized for its excellent range of promotional campaigns, as well as a full-throttle tournament schedule that any online poker fan – from novice to high-rolling veteran – can appreciate.
Titan Poker supports a solid software platform, fully equipped with the most popular online poker games – Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud and 5 Card Stud. Stud games are not available in tournament form, MTT or SNG, and NL pots are only played at Texas Holdem cash games, so there is still some room for improvement, but overall it caters to the majority of online poker players out there.
Titan Poker joining the French market seems intriguing for poker enthusiasts, though the absence of some stud tournaments is a bit limiting.
Titan Poker’s return to France with iPoker sounds like a thrilling journey for online players! Can’t wait to see the excitement unfold! 😊
