Pros

  • Crisp graphics
  • Cluster layout
  • Unique features

Cons

  • Harder to play

Quickspin really delivers on this new game release. Golden Glyph is a 7 reel slot with a ‘cluster’ payline. This means, it’s not your usual layout. Definitely expect to be surprised, in a good way. Set against an Egyptian-style background, simply playing the game is tranquil and the features are unique and exciting.

The first thing that came to my attention while playing Golden Glyph was the ‘power up’ bars. These bars essentially rotate your spins and you can trigger this by getting a power win. You will find 4 different types of power wins which are shown in the bar. Golden Glyph also has a wild symbol that will substitute for all other symbols in the game with the exception of the power and golden glyph wild.

More about powers ups…

Power Wilds will form inside of a winning cluster on every spin and if it forms a win, it triggers a power up. When you land on 4 power ups, you will get:
Blaze of Fire — will pay for all high and low symbols in its row
Eye of Horus — pays for all instances of a low symbol, chosen at random
Golden Scarab — places between 4 and 10 wilds
The Golden Glyph — gives you 9 free spins

Anyone feel like taking a trip to the pyramids of Egypt?

Happy Spinning 🙂
